Today, on January 10, the elections of deputies of the Mazhilis and Maslikhats are being held. In the morning, the akim of the region Kumar Aksakalov came to his polling station.
“The peculiarity of this year’s elections is that deputies of all levels are formed according to party lists. This is a new page in Kazakhstani parliamentarism. Mainly, we are now forming a new political culture. More and more people will participate in the government through public organizations and through parties,” — Kumar Aksakalov said.
