The akim of North Kazakhstan region Kumar Aksakalov wrote about that on his page in social networks.
“Next year, North Kazakhstan brick will be used in the construction of houses in North Kazakhstan region. A local investor is building a brick factory in the village of Podgornoye. The project amount is 1.5 billion tenge. The equipment has already been delivered. 60 North Kazakhstan citizens will find jobs at the new plant,” — the head of the region wrote.
In North Kazakhstan region, in 2021, 67 million pieces of bricks will be required for housing construction. The annual capacity of the brick factory under construction is 27 million pieces. The North Kazakhstan plant will cover 40% of the region’s demand for brick.
“Now, builders are forced to buy and deliver bricks from other regions. Our brick will be cheaper for our construction companies. This will ultimately have a positive effect on the cost of new housing. The construction of commercial housing in North Kazakhstan region will become attractive for investors,” — the akim of the region concluded.
