In the district centers of North Kazakhstan region, the construction of six sports and recreation complexes has begun this year. On the eve of the New Year, a modern sports and recreation center opened in Tayinsha. The sports facility was inspected by the akim of North Kazakhstan region Kumar Aksakalov.
The new sports complex is equipped with halls for boxing, wrestling, weightlifting, football, basketball and volleyball. The spectator tribune is designed for 160 people. The constructed sports and recreation complexes will turn into a center for sports battles. This will make it possible to centrally train young athletes.
“This year, we started building 6 sports and recreation complexes and 5 indoor hockey courts. Next year, we will build 7 more courts. We will also reformat the village clubs into cultural and recreational centers, where villagers can go in for sports," — Kumar Aksakalov said.
In honor of the opening of the new complex, the regional akim was asked to make a symbolic kick on the ball and shoot a penalty. The young goalkeeper, champion of regional competitions Igor Lunev repulsed the blow of the head of the region and left the gate dry.
In general, funding for sports has been increased from 5.1 billion to 6.1 billion tenge or 18% this year. In total, 3 football fields, 77 mini-football fields, 25 sports grounds for volleyball and basketball, 64 outdoor exercise equipment and workout grounds have been built in the region for 3 years.
