On the eve of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Day of the Rescuer, a presentation of new cars took place with the participation of the head of the region.
A review of machinery and fire-fighting equipment was held. The vehicle fleet was supplemented with 10 operational vehicles, which will be distributed throughout the region. It will help rescuers respond more quickly to incoming calls and requests. Last year, 11 units of modern machinery arrived.
“The life-saving profession involves a life threat for rescuers. It is gratifying that on the eve of the 25th anniversary of the founding of the rescue service, the Head of State decided to recreate the Ministry of Emergency Situations. More attention will be paid to this department. In 2021, we will increase funding for updating the material and technical base," — Kumar Aksakalov said.
